CSI Unveils New Operating Model, Leadership Appointments to Accelerate Innovation for Financial Institutions

Reorganization strengthens CSI enterprise core banking focus and establishes dedicated digital engagement division serving financial institutions on any core

CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial software and technology, announced a strategic reorganization and senior leadership appointments to accelerate innovation and enhance service delivery for financial institutions nationwide.

Under this new general manager-led operating model, division leaders will have end-to-end accountability for product strategy and execution, ensuring clear roadmap priorities, rapid innovation and seamless delivery across CSI and its acquired companies. These changes position CSI to deepen support for banks and credit unions across every stage of the account holder lifecycle, including core banking, digital banking, customer engagement and lending.

“Since joining CSI in May, I've had the privilege of speaking with numerous customers about technology's evolving role in their institutions and communities,” said Nancy Langer, president and CEO of CSI. “Bankers and credit union leaders want to sit at the center of the consumer and business account holder experience. Our new model is designed to deliver the solutions institutions of all sizes need to achieve that position, faster than ever before.”

The company now operates through two distinct business units: Enterprise Core Banking Solutions and Digital Engagement Solutions.

Enterprise Core Banking Solutions

Enterprise Core Banking Solutions encompasses all mission-critical banking infrastructure, operations and security, including CSI’s NuPoint® core banking solution—a preferred core technology offering among U.S. financial institutions—payments, financial crimes, managed services and document solutions. Together, they form the technological backbone of every institution, ensuring security and day-to-day performance. Leadership appointments include:

  • Giovanni Mastronardi, EVP, General Manager: A former banker with more than 25 years of experience managing and driving revenue for financial technology providers, Mastronardi leads product strategy, sales and go-to-market performance for the division. Since joining CSI in 2012, Mastronardi has held multiple leadership roles within the company, most recently serving as chief revenue officer.
  • Pankaj Sarda, SVP, Product Management: Sarda joins CSI from Numisma Bank, where he built and scaled the bank's product and infrastructure as a founding member of the team. He previously held senior roles at Goldman Sachs in Transaction Banking and spent nearly a decade at Capital One driving digital product innovation, analytics modernization and business banking operations.

Digital Engagement Solutions

Digital Engagement Solutions unifies CSI’s acquired companies—Apiture, Hawthorn River and Velocity Solutions—as well as CSI Digital Banking. Including digital banking, lending, account acquisition and engagement solutions, the division will focus on driving account holder loyalty for banks and credit unions on any core banking system. Leadership appointments include:

  • Chris Cox, EVP, General Manager: Cox oversees sales, product strategy, product delivery and go-to-market performance for the division. With more than 20 years of experience spanning banking, payments, mobile commerce and technology strategy, Cox is recognized for his ability to drive growth through digital innovation and execution. Before joining CSI, Cox served as chief operating officer at Apiture. Previously, he was general manager of First Data Corporation’s digital banking business.
  • Daniel Haisley, SVP, Product Management: In this new role, Haisley leads product vision, roadmap execution and portfolio strategy across CSI’s Digital Engagement Solutions. Haisley joins CSI from Apiture, where he served as chief product officer. Prior to Apiture, Haisley led product and digital banking initiatives for Live Oak Bank and 1st Source Bank.

To support this operating model, a new chief information/technology officer will be appointed in early 2026. In the interim, two leaders have been named to jointly oversee CSI’s technology organization:

  • Jeff Brown, VP, Architecture: Brown leads CSI’s technology strategy and architecture function, spearheading R&D initiatives across the company’s product ecosystem. With more than three decades of experience, Brown previously served as corporate chief architect and chief technology officer at FIS and built a consultancy guiding organizations from startups to Fortune 500s in evaluating and implementing technology.
  • Kevin Latta, SVP, Platform Operations, Network & Security Engineering: Latta oversees stability, performance and security for CSI’s key technology platforms. Across nearly 30 years at CSI, Latta has held numerous leadership positions, including vice president of network and security, datacomm supervisor, and director of network and security operations.

CSI also implemented leadership changes across departments that support the new division structure, including operations, finance, legal and talent. These appointments include:

  • Todd Bagley, SVP, Professional Services: Bagley joins CSI to oversee implementations, professional services, education services, program and project management, and managed services. His 35-year career includes leadership roles with FIS and SafeNet Consulting. Most recently, Bagley served as vice president of professional services and program management for Fiserv.
  • Bob Ezell, SVP, Enterprise Accounts: Ezell has more than four decades of experience working closely with financial institution executives and is a past director and president of the Association for Financial Technology (AFT). Working directly with customers, he will continue to play an instrumental role in CSI’s service excellence.
  • Ross Inman, SVP, Customer Care: Inman brings over two decades of customer support leadership to his role overseeing CSI’s customer service professionals and associated operations. Prior to CSI, Inman served in customer success roles with Apiture, Live Oak Bank and Mediware Information Systems.
  • Jarrett Puckett, SVP, Relationship Management: Puckett now leads customer relationship strategy and execution across CSI, guiding teams focused on strengthening partnerships and driving customer success. With more than 20 years at CSI, he brings deep industry experience and insight into the challenges facing financial institutions. Puckett recently served as president of AFT.
  • Jane Tague, SVP, Corporate Marketing: Tague leads CSI’s brand strategy and integrated marketing and communications function. Her more than 25 years of experience include brand management and marketing strategy for ACI Worldwide and Bank One. Tague joins CSI from Apiture, where she served as chief marketing officer.

"The exceptional leaders joining CSI, along with those advancing within the company, combine deep industry expertise with a passion for helping financial institutions succeed," Langer added. "With the momentum from our recent Apiture acquisition and this new structure in place, we're entering 2026 with absolute clarity of vision to deliver transformative results for our customers. It’s time to drive the next chapter of growth and innovation at CSI."
