The RICOH fi-8170, fi-800R, and fi-8040 are now Works With Chromebook certified, making them the first document scanners to drive innovation in digitization and enhance cloud collaboration on Chromebooks. ChromeOS offers unmatched security features, including a secure boot and automatic updates, to protect users from malware and ensure a safer digital ecosystem. The driver is designed to enable more robust collaboration on the highly secure ChromeOS for apps and commonly used software. The move couples high-powered, advanced scanning technology with the cloud storage and security capabilities of Chromebooks.
