NaphCare to Showcase Innovative EHR Solutions at the Corrections Technology Association’s 25th Annual Technology Summit

NaphCare and New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) will highlight successful implementation of TechCare services for incarcerated populations

Leading correctional healthcare company, NaphCare, Inc., announced it will join the New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) in co-presenting the successful implementation of TechCare, NaphCare’s innovative electronic health record (EHR) system, at the upcoming Annual Technology Summit on June 30 in Orlando, Florida.

Hosted by the Corrections Technology Association (CTA), the Summit convenes correctional leaders and decision-makers driving technological innovation across the industry. The 2025 theme, From Fantasy to Reality: 25 Years of Transformative Technologies in Corrections, celebrates a quarter-century of groundbreaking advancements shaping the future of corrections.

Launched in 2004, TechCare was the industry’s first EHR system designed specifically for correctional settings. As a comprehensive medical management platform, TechCare connects clinical protocols with patient care needs while ensuring compliance with national healthcare standards. Continuously enhanced to meet the evolving demands of correctional healthcare, TechCare now features advanced tools such as the MyCare Patient Portal and integrated Power BI Dashboards – boosting transparency, patient engagement, and actionable data insights.

Currently, TechCare supports more than 134 local and state correctional facilities across the country, managing over 204,000 active patient records, every day. NMCD exemplifies this success, having completed full TechCare implementation in February 2025 across all state prisons to a total of 5,800 residents, including integration with NMCD’s offender management system, pharmacy provider, laboratory and radiology services, immunization registry, and the State of New Mexico Health Information Exchange.
