Today the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a motion by Supervisor and Chair of the Board Holly Mitchell, which will help focus County resources on growing LA’s life sciences industry. As the fastest growing segment of Los Angeles’ economy, LA County’s life sciences sector employs nearly 100,000 people and is home to 20% of all direct life sciences jobs in California.
