Establishes Top 25 National Homebuilder with Strong Foundation for Growth

Continuing its growing lot count and investment in the Sacramento market, New Home Co., the Irvine, California-headquartered builder with Northern California operations based in Roseville, has officially announced two significant land acquisitions that will add seven residential neighborhoods totaling 870 homes to the region in the coming months. The two communities—one in the Natomas Panhandle and the other in Elk Grove—represent estimated future homebuilding revenue of more than $650 million.

With property entitlements completed and construction well underway, New Home Co. is now transforming 159 acres in the heart of Eastvale, California into the thoughtfully designed master-planned residential infill community of Eastvale Square. The Irvine, California-based homebuilder and land developer anticipates an economic benefit of more than $1 billion through the creation of almost 2,000 homes, in addition to a new city civic center, new police and fire stations, a public library, and hundreds of thousands of square feet of office and lifestyle-focused retail space.

New Home Co. today announced its expansion into Texas with the acquisition of Hamilton Thomas Homes, a privately owned business that operates in the Houston and Austin markets. Hamilton Thomas was founded in 2021 and is currently led by veteran homebuilding executives John Bohnen and Jennifer Keller, both who will remain at the company to lead the newly formed Texas region of New Home Co.
